Itay Mayrose is a professor at the School of Plant Sciences and Food Security, Tel Aviv University, Israel, where he leads the lab of plant evolution, bioinformatics, and comparative genomics. Prof Mayrose specializes in the development of novel algorithms and AI-based tools for plant genomic research and is a world leader in plant genomics, genome evolution, and phylogenetics.

Eilon Shani is a professor at the School of Plant Sciences and Food Security at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He is a leader in plant molecular biology, developing novel genome-scale CRISPR libraries that allow targeting multiple genes from the same family to overcome functional redundancy in plants.

Osnat is not just a leader in biotechnology but also a testament to perseverance and resilience, as demonstrated by her achievements as a sub-four-hour marathon runner. Over 40 years’ experience in Agronomy and in Plant Protection. Brings diverse & multidisciplinary knowledge in agricultural and food related technologies from both corporate and startup perspectives. Past Head of Development at Adama Agricultural Solutions. Scouted for the Fund set up by Bayer CropScience & Trendlines in Israel and active in the Israeli startup ecosystem in Food & AgTech. Jonathan holds a BSc & MSc from the Hebrew University.

Anna Rice

Head of Bioinformatics

Anna has completed her PhD and postdoc in bioinformatics at Tel-Aviv University. Her research focused on the evolution of chromosome numbers in plants and was published in prestigious journals. Before joining NetaGenomiX, Anna has worked as a data scientist in the med-tech domain, which equipped her with a profound understanding of data intricacies and real-world applications.

Shir leads the molecular genetics division in NetaGenomiX. She holds a BSc from the Hebrew University and an MSc from Tel-Aviv University in Plant Molecular Biology. She has several years of experience in the plant biotech world and in supervising biotechnological science in academia.

Erez led as President and CEO three prominent companies: Teva – the world’s largest generic pharmaceutical company, ADAMA – the world’s largest generic agrochemical company, the Strauss Group- multinational food and beverage company. He was a member of the advisory committee to Israel’s National Economic Council, a member of the Advisory Board to the Governor of the Bank of Israel, and as a member of the Israel Security Authority Plenary Governing Board. Erez holds a master’s degree in management science (MBA) from MIT.

Dr. Maymon-Pomeranchik is the founder of Biodiligence consulting that bridges between technology and business in the Ag-food tech sectors. Inbar serves as a director/ advisory board in several Int’l companies. She is active in a number of startups. Inbar holds a PhD in molecular biology from the Hebrew University and a Post Doc from the Weizmann Institute.

In his last role with Monsanto / Bayer (2011-2019) as prospector for Biotech, he established the Open Innovation Platform. He owns directly or via 3 VC partnerships, a portfolio of early-stage and mid-size companies. Yarden holds a PhD in Chemistry from Ben-Gurion University & Post Doc in Plant Virology from ARO.

Rodrigo Gutierrez is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ expertise in the fields of agribusiness and chemical raw materials. He has held key leadership positions in some of the most prominent companies in the industry.

As the former CEO of CALDIC LATAM, Rodrigo led the company’s operations in Latin America, specializing in chemical raw materials and food ingredients.

Prior to his role at CALDIC LATAM, Rodrigo served as Vice President for ADAMA North America, a leading company in crop protection, and as Vice President for ADAMA Brazil. His contributions to these organizations were instrumental intheir growth and success.

Rodrigo’s career also includes senior management positions at industry giants Bayer and Monsanto, where he honed his skills and made significant contributions to the advancement of agribusiness and chemical raw materials.

With his extensive industry knowledge and leadership acumen, Rodrigo Gutierrez continues to be a driving force in shaping the future of agribusiness on a global scale.
